PCA Outreach Services
The physicians of PCA initiated our commitment to community-
based care in 1976. We recognized the necessity of addressing the
social and geographic obstacles that many New Mexico families face
in obtaining appropriate pediatric cardiac care for their children.
During 2009, PCA physicians performed 143 outreach clinics and
provided consultation or follow-up care to 1721 patients in 7 New
Mexico communities outside Bernalillo County. High quality portable
echo/Doppler equipment allows for highly accurate diagnostic
capabilities in all outreach locations.
