Jennifer Davenport, MD
Dr. Davenport, an interventional pediatric cardiologist, joined Pediatrix Cardiology Associates in November, 2010. She assumed responsibility for the diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization services provided by our practice. Dr. Davenport did her pediatric residency at Miami Children’s Hospital. This was followed by a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Texas Children’s Hospital, and further interventional cardiology training at the University of California in San Francisco. Immediately prior to relocating to Albuquerque, Dr. Davenport worked for 2 years at the University of California, Davis as Director of Interventional Pediatric Cardiology. She joins PCA at a time when interventional catheterization is viewed as a less invasive but advantageous augmentation or alternative to surgical intervention for congenital heart disease. Most interventional cases are performed as outpatients, but in complex cases, can be done to complement and assist surgical procedures. Dr. Davenport is an accomplished endurance athlete, having completed 16 marathons and numerous triathlons.
Dr. Holmes joined Pediatrix Cardiology Associates in December, 2002. He is well- known to pediatricians and other primary care physicians throughout New Mexico, having served as a pediatric cardiologist at UNM since 1994.
